DesignRoom is a boutique interior design studio located in the leafy suburb of Glen Iris with a diverse range of experience in residential, retail, and retirement sectors. Working in collaboration with Melbourne based builder MJB Build, we offer a full design and construct service to our clients. Vanessa Badwal, the managing director, has a solid background in interior and architectural design and has collaborated with numerous renowned builders, architects and designers in various fields.

Following our design phase, MJB Build steps in to deliver a no obligation construction quotation, ensuring a meticulous focus on quality and attention to detail, ultimately bringing your project to a high-quality finish.
HOW WE CHARGE
Given the unique nature of each client and project, our fee structure is tailored to your specific needs. We generally start with a 2-hour, in-home consultation, priced at $220 plus GST (within the Melbourne metro areas). During this initial session, we will comprehensively explore your project requirements and gather a detailed brief to generate potential design solutions. By the end of the meeting, we will collaboratively develop a plan to advance your project. Within 2 business days, you will receive a personalised fee proposal for the specific design services you have chosen.
